My daughter absolutely loved making this Easy Rocket Craft. We decided to use Popsicle Sticks to make our Rocket. But, don’t worry if you don’t have Popsicle Sticks at home you can easily just use crafting paper.

My dad was a Pilot all his life. And he loved telling us flying a rocket bedtime stories invented by him. Now that we have kids of our own he tells the same stories to our kids. So my daughter just loves imagining that she can fly a rocket and can go to the moon and back. This was another reason why she loved making this Easy Rocket Craft!

Now for this easy craft we used Popsicle Sticks, and Crafting Paper. We also used a hot glue gun for sticking the Popsicle Sticks together. And you can easily download (click here) Easy Rocket Craft Template to print out the different parts of the rocket. Take 3 blue Popsicle sticks and 2 red Popsicle sticks. Place them together vertically as shown in the picture. This will be the body of your rocket. Now to stick them together take 1 more Popsicle stick and cut it with scissors to the width of the rocket body you just created before.Use your hot glue gun and put glue on this Popsicle stick. Now stick it on the rocket body. Printout the Easy Rocket Craft Template and trace the head and wings of the rocket on green crafting paper and cut them out. Cut out engine fire from the Easy Rocket Template and trace it on orange crafting paper. Now paste the head, wings and fire on the rocket body. Your Easy Rocket Craft is ready now!
